Frequently asked questions
Does Librent handle rentals of several days or weeks?
Yes. A booking has a pickup and return date and time, and the price is calculated from the daily rate. Longer rentals show up in the calendar as a single bar.
Is customer data secure?
Sensitive customer data (first and last name, email, phone, address and ID number) is encrypted in the database. Team roles limit who can access the app.
Can I run several depots?
Yes. Each depot can be a separate organisation with its own equipment and team, and you switch between them from one account.
Can staff have different permissions?
Yes. There are owner, admin and member roles, so counter staff do not need to see settings or reports.
